BlastMaster 130E Electric Pressure Hold Remote Control System
Remote control systems give an operator the ability to remotely activate and deactivate the flow of air and abrasive at the nozzle. Pressure-hold remote control systems are ideal for high production applications where an operator is frequently activating and deactivating the remote control switch during operator repositioning. The pressure-hold remote control system allows the vessel to remain pressurized when the remote control switch is deactivated. This eliminates the time waiting for the vessel to depressurize and pressurize, increasing production rates. The Blastmaster® 130E Remote Control System is a pressure-hold remote control system that uses a electric signal from the remote control switch to remotely activate and deactivate an abrasive blasting pot. Typical applications include blast rooms, blast yards, bridges, oil refineries, pipelines, railcar shops, shipyards, and storage tanks.
The Blastmaster® 130E Remote Control System, used with an air-actuated abrasive metering valve, reduces abrasive consumption by stopping the abrasive flow in the abrasive metering valve before it enters the air stream, greatly reducing “abrasive chugging” at activation, optimizing blasting efficiency.
OSHA requires an abrasive blasting pot to be equipped with a remote control system, which only operates with continuous hand pressure and closes immediately upon release of the control switch by the operator (29 CFR 1910.244(b)). This remote control system meets the OSHA requirement by providing a “Fail-to-Safe” configuration, which will deactivate the remote control system in the event the operator drops or loses control of the remote control system.

The GateKeeper Air Valve activates and deactivates the flow of compressed air without depressurizing the abrasive blasting pot.
The Blastmaster® 156E Remote Control Switch allows the operator to activate and deactivate the abrasive blasting pot from the nozzle.
The electric control assembly is ideal for operating distances greater than 100 feet.
